January 5, 2012 Stay Safe Shred & Recycle announces move to a more secure location Renee Leduc, Director, Stay Safe Shred and Recycle, a Stay Safe Solutions Company, has announced the move of the document management business line to a larger, more secure Sacramento location effective January 5, 2012.
The new state-of-the-art document management facility is equipped with security fencing, 24 cameras that include night vision, 24 hour monitored alarm systems and controlled door access points. The enhanced security complements GPS monitored trucks with security locks, tracking and open door alarms. Leduc indicated that the enhanced security exceeds the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID) AAA certification, which is the industry gold standard for document security. Additionally, Leduc indicated that Stay Safe Shred and Recycle meets or exceeds standards relating to data destruction required by agencies which include the Department of Defense, the HIPAA Privacy Rule, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, among others. Leduc indicated that the move corresponds with the recent addition of a Director of Security and Compliance who will oversee all security related issues.
Stay Safe Shred and Recycle Northern California, Bay Area, and Northern Nevada customers include law firms, banks, hospitals, federal and State of California agencies, and other organizations that have sensitive data requiring a complete focus on security.
